I enjoyed reading this book. Once I started reading City of Dark Angels I didn’t want to put it down. The characters are great and the storyline hooked me from the start. I don’t want to spoil this book for anyone so I won’t give details. The book blurb gives good information. I recommend reading this book. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

City of Dark Angels by Maria Barnett is a good, and enjoyable age gap enemies to lovers workplace romance read. The story has a good entertaining world building story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. This story is an entertaining workplace romance read.

Are you ready for a romance that is going to have you on the edge of your seat wondering if Michael and Laura’s romance will survive. So, find yourself a nice fuzzy blanket, a cup of tea and enjoy this book by Maria. I thought she did a really wonderful job writing this book and I look forward to her next book. She really describes the scenes and characters well so you can actually visualize them as you read the story.

Michael and Laura. Hes a vetern and shes a rookie. Hes bitter and judgmental. This story will get your attention and pull you in wanting to know who is it. Theres trust issues, corruption, betrayal, suspense, and wild goose chases. Its well written and great charecter building.

She was a female cop trying to put things right with her partner they were on a stakeout however when something happened he wasn’t there so she ran down the dark alley on her own she went into the derelict building got out her torch and saw something shiny on tge ground picked it up and noticed it was a nypd cop badge Michael turner she put it in her pocket there was old lipstick handbag etc and thought I think this has been planted here to make him look bad 2years later she was sent to Michael’s precinct to investigate him part of corrupt cops she still had his badge that he had never said was missing enjoy the rest of story readers
